May 2025
Community Engagement Begins
Over the course of the summer, Kendallville Plan will offer several opportunities for the community to get engaged and share their input. The Community Survey will be available May 2nd and run through June 29th. The planning team will be at the Fairy, Gnomes, and Troll Festival on May 17th to hear from you!
April 2025
Stakeholder Interviews
Over 2 days and 8 focus groups covering different sectors of the community, stakeholders have been interviewed. Thank you to the many participants who shared their time, thoughts, and passion for all things Kendallville!
February 2025
Steering Committee Selected
The Steering Committee for Kendallville Plan has been selected and will meet at the end of February. A Steering Committee is a group of community-minded individuals who are invested in the city to help drive the comprehensive plan initiative and provide guidance to the consultants.

Project Logo Developed
As part of the comprehensive plan, a project logo has been created to give a sense of identity to the process while also reflecting the community's past and preparing for the future. You will see the one on this page, as well as the one on the "Home" page throughout the process.

Consultants Hired
The City of Kendallville has partnered with Hometown Initiatives LLC and Jones Petrie Rafinski (JPR) to develop a new comprehensive plan for the community.
